Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young—a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. Psalm 84:3

Taken

Jen and I love our blogs and are always trying to come up with a new theme or idea to showcase our families. Today's idea took the cake! Jen thought instead of just one picture on the side of our blogs to introduce our families we should have a few. I have started with my 5 favorite photos of each of us to share. Thanks Jen for a great idea!

Holy Hair Batwoman!

I have been a mommy to boys much longer then to girls so when it comes to my princess' hair I come up short. Some days very short.....

Today while going from friend's blogs and their blog lists (which I read rather then tamper with Kelli's hair), I stumbled upon a few cool sites which I must share with other hair challenged friends.

1. Babes in Hairland, Kelli went to school with the headband cross patch look. Found here.
2. Girly Do's Since we have decided to grow out some of Kelli's bangs (thanks mom) I am trying this one.
3. Hairstyles for Girls has a cool look for Easter, which Kelli might be wearing at Tyrene's.
4.Piggies N Ponies has great step by step pictures.
5. Braids N Bows seems like a great beginner site.

I will continue to look for new ways to do Kelli's hair now that she likes ribbons and bows! These 5 sites are sure to help.

Fortunes

Last week Ed and I had dinner at a Chinese restaurant while the children were at AWANA. We read our fortune cookies and saved one wondering what it might mean. The next day Crystal and I were in Melbourne and stopped by Panda Express because I had never been there and I got another interesting fortune. I put them in my purse intrigued that maybe they might come true. Today I share them with you in hopes we 'read' into them.....

Happy event will take place shortly in your home

A new challenge is near.

.......to be continued.

Ribbon Dancer

Kelli's St Patrick's Day parade was held today at the Civic Center. Instead of batons M&M Sweeties twirled ribbons (Kelli's favorite). Even mommy was in the parade as a banner holder.

Happy early St Patrick's Day from Kelli, Vinny, Sal and Nicholas!

Tuesday Treasures

I am only as strong as the coffee I drink, the hair spray I use and the friends I have.
To the women that have touched my life.
Here's to you on sister's day......
Life is too short to wake up with regret.
So love the people who treat you right. Love the ones who don't just because you can.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it.
God never said life would be easy. He just promised it would be worth it.
