Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young—a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God. Psalm 84:3

Ch~Ch Changes

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes (turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes Oh, look out you rock n rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes (turn and face the strain)
Ch-ch-changes Pretty soon now youre gonna get a little older
Time may change me
But I cant trace time
I said that time may change me
But I cant trace time
Time has sure changed our Kelli! From the shy little girl in 2007 to a lovely little lady in 2009.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon....

Not really black....or scary....but they all were from our lagoon. Today Vinny's class along with his friend Cade's class went to the lagoon for their fieldtrip. We met with the staff of the Manatee Center to learn about sealife that lives in the intercoastal. We were taught to use nets to catch, study and release the sea animals.

Our first catch was pin fish.

Once we started catching we couldn't stop! Here is some of the things we found...

We found sea urchins and grass shrimp.
Hermit Crabs, Fiddler Crabs and Soft Shell Blue Crabs.

Sea Stars, Rainbow Trout and Flounder.

Mother's Day

Our family celebrated Mother's Day at Cafe Protege for brunch. The kids made my mom a flamingo stepping stone for her garden and their great~grandmother a flower steeping stone.

Goodies Galore

My munchkins on Mother's Day

Nicholas made me a card and flower pot at school. His flower was paper so 'I couldn't kill it!' and his card said my favorite game is dice! Yikes what does his teacher think I do? (Bunco is my dice game)

Sal's class made Mother's Day cards.

Kelli's class made heart shaped wreathes.

Vinny's class made tea cups with tea bags inside.

Ed surprised me with a new "summertime" purse and wallet. What a Mother's Day at our house.

Tea Pot Nick

For Mother's Day at Nicholas' school, the class sang I'm A Little Tea Pot to the parents.

I'm a little teapot, short and stout

Here is my handle, here is my spout

When I get all steamed up, hear me shout
Just tip me over and pour me out!

After we had picture time with some cool Disney characters....

Green Army Man from Toy Story

Club Penguin's Rockhopper and the very special Handy Manny!

Handy Nicky

It is officially May 4th at 12:01 Happy Birthday Nicholas! He is wearing his gift from Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Petriello.... He had to 'fix' everything in our hotel room before dreaming about meeting Handy Manny in a few hours!

Our Ladybug

Ladybug, ladybug, fly away home. We are so glad you flew to our home one and a half years ago! As many of you know we hope to adopt again and pray another sweet 'ladybug' will fly to us this year. Continue to pray that the right 'ladybug' will be placed with us soon.

Blooming Some Fun

Epcot was "In Bloom" Sunday.

The kids loved 'trading pins' during the day. (Trading Pins is an expensive and time consuming hobby.) Thanks Jason! How will we ever repay you? }:-[

We tried Disney at night. We watched the races while we had ice cream and smoothies. Yum Yum

We saw the water parade while we sailed back to the parking lot. Notice the 'birthday boy' was done by 11pm...... or was he? (See Handy Nicky)
