Happy or Not?

Nicholas came home with his 'school work'. The paper was titled Things That Make Me Happy. On the side was numbers 1-6 and stickers next to the numbers.

2~two bibles
3~three dump trucks
4~four bugs
5~five hearts
6~smiley faces

I said 'Wow Nick is this what makes you happy?' His reply 'No thats what our teacher said makes us happy, it not!'

Park Picnic

Nick raced both Omar and Eli at the park this Wednesday for our 'Wednesday fieldtrip'. We had park fun followed by a picnic lunch. We could not believe the beautiful weather!

Then ice cream at McDonalds! Wow, what a day for these boys. No trip to McDonalds is complete without some fun time on the tree house.

But none of the boys would go down the slide..... up was another story!

Name Game?

News Flash: Nicholas now wants to be called Nick Knack Paddy Whack at school and his teacher said no. She asked why would he want that and I had to think back to when my brother wanted to be called MacGyver for most of first grade, so I did not feel his request was abnormal. Bottom line it has to be 'Nicholas' or 'Nick' at school :-} Hmmm where is TJ's teacher when you need her? (She allowed TJ to be Macgyver and Mr Petriello that year).

Bowling Boys

We took the boys bowling for this weeks 'fieldtrip'! Oh boy, the three boys played three games in one hour. We were kinda shocked. But it was fun. Nick carried everyone's ball to the lanes!

Kelli had her 6th birthday party at great grandma and grandpa's house since grandma is recovering from surgery. She had cool cupcakes with presents.....

Mega Bash was a Blast!

Today the kids got to participate in the Mega Bash at school. This was their reward for selling wrapping paper during the fundraiser. So a big thank you to grandma and grandpa, Nana and Pop-Pop, Ty and Jason, Adam and Mike and Jen for buying items from the school. The kids would not have gotten to go without you.

A big thank you to Crystal for taking Nick to school this morning so I could volunteer and make sure all the kids had their wrist bands to play.

Tuesday Treasure: Conehead

Poor Jacomo.... we decided it would be best to have Jacomo declawed since he is an inside cat and we have a large human to pet ratio. Jacomo will be sporting his 'head gear' until Monday.

Disney Birthdays

We took Kelli to Magic Kingdom and Epcot for her birthday. She thought dressing-up like Cinderella would be fun for her birthday. (I might have had *something* to do with that.)

At Epcot the boys took Kelli to "Cool" to try out the cokes from around the world. Surprise - Surprise China was her favorite flavor. (watermelon cola)

We bumped into Donald Duck at Frontierland.

Kelli loves 'Its A Small World', if she only knew how small it really is.....

After defeating Zerg on the Buzz Lightyear ride, the kids climbed into his jail cell.

Fountain Fun

Crystal's sons Eli and Omar get together every Wednesday with Nick for Fun Fieldtrip Days. This week we went to the fountains since we were having wonderful FL weather.

Nick jumped right in, but Omar wasn't to sure.....

After the fountains we headed over to the park, were Nick and Eli were pirates then cowboys.
