Color Coded
Taking four kids anywhere there are crowds makes me nervous. So add even more kids......madness! A few of us moms during spring break came up with 'color coding' our kids when we go to the park, zoo or beach where there are alot of other kids around. So day 5 of Spring Break the kids and I headed over to the store to find some colored shirts for everyone to wear when we go out in the crowds during summer break. The kids had fun picking out t-shirts something that I usually don't buy for them (we are very preppy collared shirts family) and are very use to matching each other.
We ended the day at Sunlight Fun Night, where the kids got to watch a ventriloquist while enjoying a pizza dinner.

Mall Madness
Day 3 of Spring Break took us to the mall. Hmmm 2 mommas and 7 kids at the mall may not be the greatest idea. Crystal's kids wanted Crocs/Skechers like my gang since summer is coming and sneakers can't be worn everywhere. With Crocs/Skechers come Crocs/Skechers jewels so all our kids now have some bling on their feet. As a reward for their 'good behavior' at the mall we took the kids out to lunch again the ratio was not in our favor but we pulled off lunch and two stores before we ended up at the park, which is were they really wanted to be. We found a park with sand to try out the new shoes.

Dentist Day
For the first day of Spring Break the kids had their dentist appointment. This was a first time for Nick and Kelli. We had some mixed emotions about taking all four kids to the dentist together when we had two newbies. We enlisted Nana to help out and man the waiting room while the kids came in and out. The end results: Vinny has to go back for a 'deep clean', Sal has three cavities to be filled and the *newbies* have great healthy teeth! All in 2 hours at the dentist. But all four are very happy with their new toothbrushes and toothpaste.
